The meeting started by welcoming new members…

We congratulated the group from last year on finishing their first book: Stirling &Yamada-Rice (eds) (2015) Visual Methods with Children and Young People: Academics and Visual Industries in Dialogue, Palgrave. Everyone was invited to the Book launch on 11th December 2015 noon-2pm. Location TBC The meeting then focused on Abi Hackett sharing the work Caroline Claissie has undertaken on materialising key themes from Abi’s project on how very young children move in museums.

Finally an event being hosted at SEAS might be of interest….

The next CSCY Visual Research Group meeting will take place 15th December 4-5pm. Location TBC. Kate Pahl will lead the next meeting with James Oliver about the Artists Legacy Project.
